DESCRIPTION:FULLY BOOKED\nThe LSFI is pleased to invite you to its upcoming in-person, free masterclass on Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) on Tuesday 16th April, from 9:00 to 13:00hrs.\nWhat is the masterclass about?\nFollowing up on the work and the recommendations of the LSFI Working Group on Climate Measurement and Reporting, the LSFI is organising an in-person masterclass to delve into the PCAF standard.\nThe working group has recommended the PCAF standard as a very suitable and comprehensive methodology to support financial institutions in measuring GHG emissions, the first step in their net zero transition.\nThe masterclass will introduce the standard as well as how to use it by incorporating both theoretical and practical elements. It will offer the audience concrete information regarding its implementation, firsthand insights and best practices.\nWhat is the agenda?\n9:00 to 09:45 – Registration & Networking Breakfast\n09:45 to 10:45 – Introduction to PCAF and Q&A, by Marco Tormen, Europe and DACHLI Lead at Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF).\n10:45 to 12:45 – Case studies, and best practices from industry experts (stay tuned, speakers are to be announced soon!).\n12:45 to 13:00 – Q&A and Closing Remarks\nWho does the masterclass target?\nThe masterclass targets Luxembourg’s financial professionals, ideally those engaged in sustainable finance or with some exposure to the field. Previous experience or knowledge of PCAF is not necessary.\nWhat is PCAF?\nPCAF is an industry-led initiative developed in 2015 as a carbon emission measuring standard for absolute GHG emissions.
