Title: General Manager

Your mission

  • Manage and coordinate the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI),
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a Sustainable Finance Strategy for Luxembourg, reflecting the distinctive features and added value of the Luxembourg financial center,
  • Actively support the implementation of an effective “quality control” framework of the Sustainable Finance Strategy;
  • Set up and coordinate sector and / or thematic working groups with defined roles and responsibilities on sustainable finance topics,
  • Actively support Luxembourg’s financial sector stakeholders in the development of sustainable finance initiatives,
  • Organise at least one yearly stakeholder assembly,
  • Take care of administrative and operational matters (organising Board and Annual General Meetings, organise accounting and potential audits, write an annual report of the LSFI’s general activities and progress, etc…)
  • Represent the LSFI where appropriate.

Profile – skills

  • Experience in the field of sustainable finance
  • Knowledge of the Luxembourg financial center and key players
  • Experience in climate scenario assessments of financial institutions
  • Knowledge about European and national sustainable finance regulatory developments
  • Management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Approachable and open minded
  • Creative and results-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills

Diplomas

You hold a degree from a higher education institution.

Languages

Good written and spoken fluency in English. Every additional language is an advantage.
