It will combine theoretical and practical content delivered by national and international experts.\u202f\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The session will cover where biodiversity stands, why its preservation is pivotal for our future, and what are the\u00a0main frameworks and standards, such as\u00a0the Convention on\u00a0Biodiversity and the recently launched Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). It will also delve into integrating biodiversity into financial decisions by examining case studies. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">What is the\u00a0masterclass agenda?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">9:00\u00a0to 10:00 \u2013 Networking Breakfast\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">10:00 to 11:00 \u2013 Introduction to biodiversity: why is it relevant, what are the key conventions and frameworks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">11:00 to 12:30 \u2013 Case studies analysis and discussion: how to integrate biodiversity into financial decisions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">12:30 to 13:00 \u2013 Open discussion and closing remarks\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">*Presenters will be announced in due time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Who can attend?\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The masterclass targets Luxembourg financial professionals, with a preference for those working in the sustainable finance domain or directly affected by it. Other profiles involved in sustainable finance can also apply; however, preference will be given to applicants from the financial sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">How can I apply?\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">You can apply to attend by filling in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lsfi.lu\/masterclass-on-biodiversity-application-to-register\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this form<\/a><\/span>.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Palatino; font-size: 12pt;\">The LSFI will review the applications received and select the profiles as per the above-mentioned criteria.
