The figures from the Global Footprint Network (GFN) make it clear that Luxembourg still has to make considerable efforts to reduce its ecological footprint.
\nIn order to better interpret the figures, the Conseil Sup\u00e9rieur pour un D\u00e9veloppement Durable (CSDD) commissioned the LIST (Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology) to examine certain elements of the methodology applied and, on this basis, established a differentiated calculation of Luxembourg’s ecological footprint, aimed at better reflecting the country’s profile and guiding efforts to systematically reduce its ecological footprint.<\/p>\n
