She is an environmental engineer from Politecnico di Milano and holds an Executive MBA from SDA Bocconi University in Milan. She has over 15 years of experience in in-depth Corporate Social Responsibility review and implementation within companies around the globe. She is also an expert on sustainable finance, with a deep knowledge of ESG dimensions and the Luxembourg financial landscape. Nicoletta is enthusiastic about impact investing, social businesses, and Environmental, Social and Governance drivers. She is committed to supporting financial players and companies to transition towards increased sustainability and impact.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ms Centofanti has played a central role for the LSFI, including the Initiative\u2019s set-up, the kick-off of its activities and the consolidation of its mission. In this respect, Nicoletta guided the launch and the implementation of the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Strategy by leading the 2021 Luxembourg Climate Scenario Analysis, launching the LSFI\u2019s cross-sectoral working groups, creating the Take Action website-based toolkit and developing the 2022 Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Study, among others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI am delighted to undertake the role of General Manager and thus continue supporting and advancing the LSFI\u2019s very important mission. Sustainable finance has rapidly evolved over the last few years, and it is now at a turning point where the journey needs to be intensified and streamlined. The LSFI, as Luxembourg\u2019s coordinating entity in sustainable finance, plays a key role in supporting this process. I am committed to work to advance the transition towards sustainability and, especially, to help the Luxembourg financial sector by providing its players with the instruments and guidance to do so while aiming to achieve a positive impact in our economies and society\u201d.\u00a0 \u2013 Nicoletta Centofanti, LSFI\u2019s General Manager.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The appointment of the general manager, which was approved by the LSFI\u2019s board on 28<sup>th<\/sup> February 2023, aims to continue to reinforce and to consolidate the role of the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative.
