The fourth edition of the International Climate Reporting Awards (ICRA) are currently open for submissions. This award\u00a0targets financial institutions worldwide and rewards the best climate reporting practices both in terms of exposure to climate risk and contribution to the climate goals.<\/p>\n<p>ICRA is jointly organised by the non-profit think tank, 2\u00b0 Investing Initiative (2DII), the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME), and the Ministry of Ecological Transition (CGDD).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\">OBJECTIVES<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The Awards aim to recognize financial institutions that integrate climate-related considerations into their reporting and business practices, notably:<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">To increase awareness and promote best practices and innovation in climate reporting and disclosures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">To highlight ongoing progress in reporting, build capacity, share expertise and identify remaining challenges<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">To provide the opportunity for applicants to receive detailed feedback on their current reporting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\">All financial institutions around the world are eligible, including asset managers, asset owners, insurances and banks, as well as development banks and central banks.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\">KEY DATES<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>Applications are \u00a0currently\u00a0open and the deadline for submission is\u00a0July 31st:<\/li>\n<li>August-September: Review of applications<\/li>\n<li>September-October: Jury deliberation meetings<\/li>\n<li>End of October: Awards Ceremony will take place during the Paris for Tomorrow week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\">THE 2021 STEERING COMMITTEE MEMBERS<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>The Steering Committee oversees the governance of the Climate Awards and this year is composed of\u00a0Principles for Responsible Investment,\u00a0Eurosif &#8211; The European Sustainable Investment Forum, Finance for Tomorrow, World Benchmarking Alliance, (CGDD), ADEME,\u00a02\u00b0 Investing Initiative and the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\">MEMBERS OF THE 2021 JURY<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Jury is currently being constituted. It will be composed of representatives of various European and International institutions, financial supervisory authorities (the Luxembourg\u2019s CSSF will be part of the Jury this year) and Universities.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366;\">APPLICATION PROCESS <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">There are two ways to apply, depending on the candidates\u2019 home country:<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">For French financial institutions\/entities: you can submit your candidacy through the <a href=\"https:\/\/climate-transparency-hub.ademe.fr\/\"><strong>Climate Transparency Hub<\/strong><\/a> platform<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">For International financial institutions: the English version of the evaluation criteria as well as the application form are available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.climatereportingawards.org\/s\/Application-Form_CTH-Matrix-2021_EN.xlsx\">here<\/a>.
