Gilles Roth<\/b><\/span>, Luxembourg\u2019s Minister of Finance, delivered a speech highlighting the LSFI\u2019s achievement in raising awareness of sustainable finance and emphasising the resilience of sustainable finance in a challenging and competitive environment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Since its founding in 2020, the LSFI has achieved significant milestones, driven innovation, and made a positive impact within the community of finance practitioners in Luxembourg by:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022<\/span> <span style=\"color: #003366;\"><b>Expanding its upskilling efforts<\/b><\/span> through the organisation of knowledge-sharing masterclasses on emerging topics in sustainable finance, the last Summit in September was attended by over 400 participants per session.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022<\/span> <span style=\"color: #003366;\"><b>Building its Resource Hub<\/b><\/span>, available on its website, featuring sections on Trainings, EU Regulations, Networks, Frameworks, Standards, Labels and Data Platforms &#8211; among others, over 110 key data platforms that provide science-based, comparable, and harmonised open-source datasets supporting data accessibility.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022<\/span> <span style=\"color: #003366;\"><b>Co-facilitating the LHoFT Catapult Green Fintech programme<\/b><\/span>, sponsored by the Ministry of Finance. This programme helps fintech startups scale, connect, and grow by developing innovative sustainable finance solutions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022<\/span> <span style=\"color: #003366;\"><b>Fostering gender balance<\/b><\/span> in the Luxembourg financial sector, coordinating the Luxembourg Women in Finance Charter, founded by ALFI, ACA, ABBL, LuxFlag, and LuxSe under the patronage of the Ministry of Finance, and now gathering more than 85 signatories.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022<\/span> <span style=\"color: #003366;\"><b>Keeping the financial community informed<\/b><\/span> on sustainable finance trends and news through its newsletter, website, and social media channels, which collectively reach over 13,000 followers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022<\/span> <span style=\"color: #003366;\"><b>Measuring progress <\/b><\/span>of sustainable finance investment in Luxembourg, by releasing its yearly Sustainable Finance Study since 2022.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s1\">\u2022<\/span> <span style=\"color: #003366;\"><b>Supporting projects aimed at transforming how financial institutions handle <\/b><b>Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data<\/b>. <\/span>For example, the LSFI is contributing with its expertise to a partnership between LHoFT and the University of Luxembourg\u2019s Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), to enhance data standardisation and accessibility using artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cWe are pleased to mark five successful years in advancing sustainable finance in Luxembourg. Our journey has been one of growth, teamwork, and dedication to our mission: to ensure Luxembourg remains a leading hub for sustainable finance on the global stage and becomes a blueprint for Europe and beyond.
