The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance\u00a0of the University of Luxembourg\u00a0<\/strong>(FDEF)\u00a0and the\u00a0Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative<\/strong>\u00a0(LSFI)\u00a0are pleased to invite you on Thursday, 5th October, from 12:30 to 14:00 (CET) to their online event\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0What’s the role of women’s leadership in the transition to sustainability?\u00a0\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Integrating the gender dimension plays a twofold central role in the transition towards sustainability. On the one hand, according to recent studies,\u00a0women in leadership positions have been seen to\u00a0consistently integrate sustainability\u00a0<\/strong>in business\u00a0and investment decisions further. On the other hand, particularly in developing countries, the consequences of climate change have a\u00a0greater impact on women<\/strong>,\u00a0therefore requiring\u00a0larger attention.<\/p>\n

This webinar will explore the\u00a0intersection<\/strong>\u00a0between gender integration and sustainable finance; trying to respond to how women’s leadership relates to the\u00a0transition towards sustainability<\/strong>\u00a0as well as showcasing best practices, opportunities and challenges associated with integrating the gender dimension into financial decisions.<\/p>\n
