The\u00a0Luxembourg Sustainable Finance\u00a0Initiative<\/a>\u00a0(LSFI) is\u00a0pleased to\u00a0invite you to its COP side event\u00a0<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0Innovation in Sustainable Finance &\u00a0Challenges to Scale\u00a0\u00bb. It will take place virtually\u00a0during the Finance Day (Wednesday, 3rd November from 17:30 to 18:45 CET).<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Financial\u00a0instruments supporting\u00a0the transition to a more sustainable and climate neutral economy\u00a0have undergone\u00a0considerable growth over the last decade<\/strong>.\u00a0At the start of 2020, global sustainable investment reached USD35.3 trillion in five major markets, a 55% increase in the past four years (source:\u00a0Global Sustainable Investment Review\u00a02020<\/a>). This\u00a0growth has been catalysed\u00a0by innovative products and solutions.<\/p>\n

How does the future of these instruments look like?<\/strong> How do we\u00a0build synergies between the initiatives and\u00a0players to further\u00a0accelerate the necessary changes? Where are the challenges and barriers to scale? This session\u00a0will explore the role of institutions, private capital and\u00a0sovereign\u00a0wealth to reach the\u00a0global\u00a0sustainability\u00a0goals.<\/strong><\/p>\n
