About the LSFI Summit

Join us at the LSFI Summit „Finance for a Sustainable Future“ to explore the latest trends in sustainable finance and gain insights from leading experts on staying ahead and overcoming challenges.

This two-day summit, organised by the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI), will be held in Luxembourg on the afternoon of September 18th and the morning of September 19th.

The event will feature a unique format that combines keynote speeches with four in-depth masterclasses on various sustainable finance topics, as well as a presentation of the challenges and best practices associated with ESG Data. 

The masterclasses provide detailed sessions combining theory and case studies on Human Rights, Biodiversity, Stewardship & Engagement, and Private Capital Mobilisation, allowing attendees to delve deeply into each subject.

The LSFI Summit is designed for financial professionals interested in or experienced with sustainable finance, and it offers excellent networking opportunities with peers in the industry. Don’t miss out on this chance to enhance your knowledge and connect with fellow professionals.

Delve into the Masterclasses

The LSFI masterclasses are knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill financial professionals on concrete sustainable finance topics to help the sector advance and lead on this matter. The masterclasses combine theory and case studies, aiming to foster a knowledgeable community on sustainable finance. They also serve as a forum to exchange best practices and discuss practical solutions.

This masterclass will enhance Luxembourg financial professionals‘ knowledge on mobilising private investments through blended finance, featuring theoretical insights and practical case studies from national and international experts. Topics include structures and strategies.

 

Learn more about the Masterclass
This masterclass will help financial professionals integrate human rights into their investment decisions. It willincludes a theoretical session on human rights principles such as OECD guidelines for multinational enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. This will be followed by a practical session that will include two separate streams, one for banks and one for asset managers.

This masterclass will enhance financial professionals‘ knowledge on how to integrate biodiversity into investment decisions. It combines theoretical and practical content on the importance of biodiversity, key frameworks and standards like the Convention on Biodiversity and TNFD, and integrating biodiversity into financial decisions through case studies.

Event location

The LSFI summit will take place at the Neumünster Abbey, at the heart of Luxembourg in the Grund quarter.

Guests can reach the venue with a 15-minute walk from Hamilius, a central bus and tram stop in Luxembourg. Alternatively, they can take bus 9 or 14 from Hamilius to Pfaffenthal, Um Bock (2 stops), and then walk 400 meters. For those who prefer to cycle, the venue also offers bike parking.

Accessibility for All

The venue is fully accessible to all attendees, including those with disabilities. The site offers two reserved parking spaces for visitors with reduced mobility, as well as an interior parking lot available upon request. All meeting rooms, auditoriums, and exhibition spaces are accessible, with a lifting platform available to navigate the outdoor staircase, ensuring easy access to the building, fortifications, green areas, and surrounding districts.
