Sustainable Finance Project Manager
Permanent contract (CDI), full-time | Start: as soon as possible | Location: Luxembourg
The role
Do you enjoy bringing order to complex projects, following up on every action, and taking pride in documents that are clear, accurate and well-written? The LSFI is looking for a Sustainable Finance Project Manager to run its multi-stakeholder platforms, which bring together senior decision-makers from the public and private sectors of the Luxembourg financial centre. You will work under the supervision of the Head of Sustainable Finance.
As the central point of contact between the LSFI team and its stakeholders, advisory boards and working group members, you will make sure that every meeting is well prepared, every discussion is accurately recorded and every agreed action is followed through to completion.
What you will do
- Stakeholder Forum: organise the LSFI Stakeholder Forum from start to finish (dates, agendas, presentations, minutes) and use participant feedback to improve each edition.
- Advisory Bodies (IIAB and SAB): run their secretariat together with their Chair and Vice Chair, and track agreed actions until they are completed.
- Women in Finance (WiF) Charter: onboard new signatories, manage the annual data collection campaign, coordinate the Steering Committee and the founders, and steer the annual progress report through to publication with the data provider and consultant.
- Working Groups and Taskforces: launch new groups on topics selected by Management, run their secretariat with the Chair and Vice Chair, and keep members focused on tangible outcomes.
- Support the Head of Sustainable Finance: Contribute to other LSFI projects as assigned by the Head of Sustainable Finance (including but not limited to coordination, planning of activities, participating in events, desk-top research) and to the day-to-day activities of the team.
What we expect from you
- Outstanding organisation: you plan ahead, take ownership, and drive several projects in parallel and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and precision: accuracy matters to you, whether in a set of minutes, a data file or a slide.
- Excellent writing skills: you draft clear, concise and well-structured agendas, minutes, emails and reports, and you can summarise complex discussions.
- Diplomacy and firmness: you are at ease with senior stakeholders and remain courteous but persistent on follow-ups and deadlines.
- Adaptability: you handle shifting priorities calmly without losing sight of the essentials.
Qualifications and experience
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business, finance, communications, political science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in project management, stakeholder coordination or a secretariat role, ideally in an association, a public body or the financial sector.
- Genuine interest in sustainable finance; knowledge of the Luxembourg financial centre and experience in the field of sustainable finance are an advantage.
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken; German, French and/or Luxembourgish are an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
