About the position

Key Responsibility

Under the responsibility of the CEO and in close collaboration with the Deputy CEO, manage Human Resources and Accounting functions at the LSFI.

Main Tasks

  • Manage and post job openings and manage recruitment processes.
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and assist with onboarding.
  • Manage team’s employment contracts and performance review cycle
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Track holidays and other leaves.
  • Prepare the year and multiyear budget
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual expenses’ reports.
  • Process invoices and payments.
  • Assist with yearly audits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of combined experience in HR and accounting roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Very good command of English and French (written and spoken). German and/or Luxembourgish are an advantage.

Who we are

The Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI) (www.lsfi.lu) is Luxembourg’s coordinating entity on Sustainable Finance.

The LSFI was founded in January 2020 by the Luxembourg Government (Ministry of Finance and Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity), Luxembourg for Finance (the agency for the development of the financial centre) and the High Council for Sustainable Development (Conseil Supérieur pour un Développement Durable), an independent advisory body to the Luxembourg Government about sustainable development matters that represents the civil society.
