Impact of Climate Change on Gender Equality, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Gender-based Violence

This side event, organised by United Nations Population Fund, will highlight the intersections of climate change, health, gender equality, and the rights of women and girls, drawing on evidence from South Sudan to demonstrate how gender-responsive, health-focused adaptation strengthens resilience and protects rights in climate-vulnerable contexts.

This event will take place in the Luxembourg Pavilion at COP30.
