About this masterclass

This masterclass focused on supporting financial professionals in integrating human rights into financial decisions. For that, key frameworks, standards and best practices were presented. In particular, during the theory session, key definitions and principles and international commitments on human rights, such as the UN guiding principles on Business and Human Rights, as well as the OECD guidelines for multinational enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct were presented. This was followed by a practical session where case studies on the implementation of the OECD due diligence guidelines on responsible business conduct (RBC) in the financial sector, practitioners’ best practices and challenges as well as insights from the OECD’s working groups were shared.

The practical session of this Masterclass was splitted into two streams, one for asset managers / investors and one for banks.
