About this masterclass
This masterclass will focus on supporting financial professionals in integrating human rights into financial decisions. For that, it will present key frameworks, standards and best practices. In particular, during the theory session, key definitions and principles and international commitments on human rights, such as the UN guiding principles on Business and Human Rights, as well as the OECD guidelines for multinational enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct will be presented. This will be followed by a practical session where case studies on the implementation of the OECD due diligence guidelines on responsible business conduct (RBC) in the financial sector, practitioners’ best practices and challenges as well as insights from the OECD’s working groups will be shared.
The practical session of this Masterclass will be split into two streams, one for asset managers / investors and one for banks.
