Communication Manager

About the position

Key responsibilities 

The Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI) is looking for a Communication Manager to manage and oversee the LSFI communication activities.

  • Event Management: Manage and organise events, roundtables, and webinars, overseeing content development, speaker coordination, and logistics.
  • Website Management: Oversee and manage website updates and content development.
  • Social Media Management: Plan, manage, and oversee the social media editorial calendar and content production.
  • Newsletter Management: Manage the editorial planning, content creation, and distribution of newsletters and other communications.
  • Content Development & Review: Research, create, and manage the production of various content, including concept notes, reports, interviews, Q&As, and relevant industry updates.
  • Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency and oversee brand identity.
  • Press Relations: Draft press releases and arrange press interviews.
  • Team Management: Supervise a team of 2 members.

Preferred qualification and profile 

The candidate should be an expert in communications, with knowledge of sustainable finance and latest updates. She/he should be able to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and have both a strong team spirit and self-drive.

Required 

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in communication roles.
  • University Masters’ programme in a relevant topic (Marketing, Communication, Journalism, etc.)
  • A very good command of English (written and spoken). French, German and/or Luxembourgish are considered as an advantage.
  • Proficient in a website content management system (preferably WordPress).
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to present in public
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word…)
  • A valid work permit.

Desirable 

  • Advanced knowledge in image editing (preferably Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere, Canva or similar).
  • Knowledge in sustainable finance and the Luxembourg financial sector.

Who we are

The Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI) (www.lsfi.lu) is Luxembourg’s coordinating entity on sustainable finance, driving change across the whole ecosystem as a Centre of Excellence and Knowledge Hub, enabling the financial sector to accelerate the financing of the transition, and measuring progress.

The LSFI was founded in January 2020 by the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance, Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, Luxembourg for Finance and the High Council for Sustainable Development (Conseil Supérieur pour un Développement Durable).
