Dear reader,
We are delighted to share with you the LSFI 2021 Annual Report.
2021 was a landmark year for the LSFI: it was the year of the launch of the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Strategy and when we started implementing our Action Plan. Since the beginning, all our activities aimed to:
- Raise awareness and become a central and easily accessible information hub about sustainable finance, actively informing and enhancing knowledge on this matter; while also promoting existing and upcoming sustainable finance initiatives.
- Give concrete support and toolkits to the financial sector to help navigate the sustainable finance path.
- Support the financial industry in Luxembourg in measuring and monitoring progress of the path towards increased sustainability.
Some of this first year’s key deliverables have been developing toolkits (mapping, classifying and showcasing initiatives, frameworks, standards and measurement tools), launching a climate scenario assessment with the PACTA methodology, raising awareness, and creating further dialogue on sustainable finance.
