Nicoletta Centofanti

Nicoletta is an environmental engineer and holds an Executive MBA from Bocconi University in Milan. Nicoletta is a sustainability and sustainable finance expert and has 15 years of experience spanning from environmental and social due diligence, Corporate Social Responsibility review and implementation within companies around the globe, responsible sourcing and sustainable finance. She is committed to support financial players and companies transition towards increased sustainability and impact. Nicoletta is enthusiastic about impact investing, social businesses and Environmental Social Governance drivers. In short, anything that contributes to a better world.

Deputy CEO

Lorenzo Avico

Lorenzo is an expert of Luxembourg financial services for over 25 years. Prior to joining the LSFI, Lorenzo was Head of Business Development at BNP Paribas Asset Management, Luxembourg, and Head of Sales at Eurizon Capital. He also worked as portfolio manager at several banks such as Edmond de Rothschild (Europe) and Intesa Sanpaolo. In addition, through his extensive experience in the financial sector, he has consistently been exposed to the latest developments in sustainable finance. He has further enhanced this practical knowledge through several certifications aimed at upskilling in sustainable finance.

Communication Manager

Maria Eugenia Tapia Rojo

Maria is a Communications Specialist with expertise in Corporate and Digital Communication. After working as a communication adviser in different European Institutions and in the Luxembourg financial sector, she decided to bring her know-how to the LSFI with the strong will to help promote sustainable finance in Luxembourg. She strongly believes in the importance of raising awareness around sustainability matters in order to be able to achieve a more fair and equal society.

Stakeholder Coordinator

José Godonou Atata

José is a professional with a background in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability within local authorities. He decided to broaden his knowledge by delving into sustainable finance. Currently, José is focused on ensuring that the main players in sustainable finance in Luxembourg are well coordinated. He is helping them combine their efforts to make a more tangible impact and drive progress in this area.

Communication Analyst

Stella Kouri

Stella is a Communication Specialist with a background in organising and managing corporate events and digital communication strategies. With experience gained from positions in an international company focused on providing ESG solutions in the real estate sector, and a bilateral chamber of commerce, Stella has joined LSFI with a determined focus on advancing sustainable finance initiatives and a commitment to leveraging communication channels to raise awareness about sustainability issues.

Alex Pothaar

Alex is an Economist with a focus on economic development and finance. He cares deeply about sustainable finance, research, and the opportunities in emerging markets. Alex is committed to ensuring that finance creates a positive impact. In joining the LSFI, he supports the organisation with research and strategic analysis to help drive sustainable finance in Luxembourg and beyond.
