The Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative is delighted to invite you to the “Climate Scenario Analysis – Luxembourg 2021” kick off webinar. It will take place on Tuesday, 29th June from 11:00 to 12:30.
In 2021, the Luxembourg financial sector is given a unique opportunity to run a so-called “climate scenario analysis” in order to understand its climate path. This analysis is free of charge, confidential and is fully sponsored by the Luxembourg Government.
This event will be an informative session. Representatives from the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development will present the project and its relevance for Luxembourg’s financial centre, followed by an intervention by the LSFI to introduce the analysis. Afterwards, members of 2° Investing Initiative (2DII) will deep dive into the selected methodology, the technical aspect of the exercise and explain what the next steps are. The participants will also have the opportunity to raise their questions during a dedicated Q&A.
Audience:
- The webinar targets the operational staff from the interested financial institutions that will be in charge of running the exercise. It will give a detailed overview of the methodology and the platform.
