Inclusive Finance: what are we talking about?
The objective of this CPD session will be to explain what is Inclusive Finance and the tools available.
After a brief introduction made by InFiNe to the Luxembourg Inclusive Finance ecosystem, the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP) and LMDF trainers will provide participants with an overview of what financial inclusion is about, its origins, rationale, and role of its main stakeholders as well as how the sector leverage data to manage its impact.
The session will also present current trends of the sector, including green and climate smart finance, the role of technology and client protection, and will refer to the main initiatives developed by the sector, including the Universal Standards for Social and Environmental Performance Management (USSEPM), Atlas database, the Green Index and the Green Map, the Social Investors Working Group work on SFDR and EU regulations, the Client Protection Pathway, among others.
