2026 LSFI Stakeholder Assembly
In June 2026, the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI) organised its fifth Stakeholder Assembly.
The Stakeholder Assembly is a unique yearly meeting bringing together LSFI stakeholder organisations at CEO level to foster dialogue and collaboration, strengthen relationships, gather strategic insights, and identify opportunities for the Luxembourg financial centre in the field of sustainable finance.
The LSFI Stakeholder Assembly aims to:
• Inform stakeholders about LSFI’s ongoing and upcoming activities and strategic priorities;
• Foster synergies by discussing sector developments, shared challenges, and opportunities in sustainable finance;
• Provide a platform for open and forward-looking dialogue at the senior level.
About the LSFI Stakeholder Assembly
The 2026 Assembly was honoured by the presence of H.E. Gilles Roth, Luxembourg’s Minister of Finance, and H.E. Serge Wilmes, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, reaffirming the Government’s continued commitment to advancing sustainable finance in Luxembourg.
The event brought together senior representatives from LSFI stakeholder organisations to exchange views on key developments shaping the sustainable finance agenda and to discuss opportunities for further strengthening Luxembourg’s position as a leading international sustainable finance centre. In line with LSFI’s collaborative approach, the Assembly provided an opportunity to gather stakeholder perspectives, reinforce cross-sector collaboration, and identify priorities for LSFI’s future work programme.
As LSFI’s flagship stakeholder engagement event, the annual Assembly continues to play an important role in strengthening dialogue across the sustainable finance ecosystem and ensuring that LSFI’s activities remain closely aligned with the needs and priorities of its stakeholders.
Conclusion
Through its past and coming work, the LSFI aims to help the financial sector transition, raise awareness and foster collaboration and regular dialogue among all the stakeholders which compose the Luxembourg sustainable finance landscape (financial institutions, public bodies, civil society, research and education, and corporates, among others).
We envisage that working on the abovementioned topics will help advance sustainable finance in Luxembourg, find a key differentiator for the country, and face challenges. To successfully deliver this mission, collaboration and involvement of all the different stakeholders will be central for the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative.
